Austin Playhouse is thrilled to launch their first round of summer theatre camps for kids ages 7-10 in June 2017! From dance classes to theatre games to music lessons, children will learn the skills they need to produce and perform their own play. Campers will have the opportunity to see Austin Playhouse company members perform scenes and songs from recent productions. Workshops will be taught by a talented pool of designers, including sound designer Joel Mercado-See, costume designer Buffy Manners and makeup designer Glenda Wolfe. At the end of the week, parents will have the opportunity to see the show their little ones have created!
Tuition is $180. Parents can choose between two sessions on June 12 – 16 or June 19 – 23 from 9am-12pm. Parents can email [email protected] or call 512-476-0084 to enroll children or request more information.
Each camp must have a minimum of 5 children. If the camp hasn't reached capacity by Friday, May 26, you will be alerted and the tuition will be refunded.
