The Mystery of Edwin Drood by Rupert Holmes: Musical Murder Mystery! In 1870 Charles Dickens died before finishing his last novel, The Mystery of Edwin Drood. This hilarious, vaudeville-inspired musical takes the audience on a fast-paced journey through the story and lets them play ultimate detective, solving the mystery and choosing a different ending each night!

Copenhagen by Michael Frayn: Considered the greatest play ever written about science, Michael Frayn’s multi-award-winning drama explores a fascinating mystery: why did German physicist Werner Heisenberg visit his Danish mentor and friend Niels Bohr during World War II? The spirits of these two men and Bohr’s wife Margrethe meet once again in the afterlife to attempt to answer that very question, discuss the intricacies of physics, and ponder the metaphysical— the very essence of human motivation.

The Book of Will by Lauren Gunderson: From the author of Austin Playhouse favorites Silent Sky and Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, comes a new play about the community who saved Shakespeare’s work from the dustbin of history. “The Book of Will... unequivocally announces Gunderson as a playwright with whom to be reckoned. It is, quite frankly, one of the best plays I have ever seen. It will bring tears of both laughter and sorrow to all but the most jaded audience member’s eyes. It is, in a word, a triumph.” — Boulder Weekly

TBA: We'll be announcing the last title of our season soon!
